New Poster: 'I Love You Phillip Morris'

This has been a film that we've been looking at, which seems like forever now. For 2 years, the filmmakers, along with Carrey and McGregor have been fighting to get this picture released on a large market. In August, their hard work and payed off and Roadside Productions picked up the rights and looks to see a limited release December 3rd of this year.

RoadSide Pictures released this brand new poster for the film. Here is the official plot synopsis as well.

Bad Santa co-screenwriters Glenn Ficara and John Requa re-team for this fact-based black comedy starring Jim Carrey as a Texas police officer-turned-con man who makes the leap to white-collar criminal after being sent to prison and falling in love with his sensitive cellmate. Steve Russell (Carrey) is a small-town cop. Bored with his bland lifestyle, Russell turns to fraud as a means of shaking things up. Before long, Russell’s criminal antics have landed him behind bars, where he encounters the charismatic Phillip Morris (Ewan McGregor). Smitten, Russell devotes his entire life to being with Morris regardless of the consequences — which could well include a life sentence.

It started as compiling a list of our top 250 films. After spending so much time with the project, we realized that having a set in stone list of that magnitude was just too difficult. So here we are, with the TinCan Cinema top 50 films.
