These films are our FAVORITE films. They were not judged on their underlying messages or social change that they brought upon the world. If that were so, the list would look drastically different. Take this list as a showcase of the films that are musts in the eyes of TinCan. We also chose to not list "comedies" in our list. As much as we love Kingpin, Old School, and Wedding Crashers, it would be unfair to judge them with different criteria than the other films. Maybe sometime down the road, we could compile our own smaller list for comedies.See TinCan's 45-41 top films after the jump.
I see all this potential, and I see it squandered. An entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables, slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy stuff we don’t need. We’re the middle children of history, man; no purpose or place. We have no Great War, no Great Depression. Our Great War is a spiritual war. Our Great Depression is our lives.

TinCan Cinema Top 50 Films
It started as compiling a list of our top 250 films. After spending so much time with the project, we realized that having a set in stone list of that magnitude was just too difficult. So here we are, with the TinCan Cinema top 50 films.
Use this as an official disclaimer for the list:
We highly encourage that you submit your own top lists of films. We would love to see the films that have a large impact on your own lives. We'll unveil 45-50 in the coming days. Hopefully every 3 days , I'll be able to highlight the next 5. Enjoy!

Trailer: The Fighter
This is the one, we've all been waiting for. The official synopsis is below.
Shepherded his half-brother “Irish” Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg), Dicky had a Rocky-like rise to the world lightweight championship. Ward fought throughout the mid-’80s and ’90s, but he’s best remembered for three battles with Arturo Gotti, two of which went down as the greatest in the history of the sport. Amy Adams plays “a tough, gritty bartender and former college high-jumper” who ends up dating Wahlberg’s character.
