The amount of people who have lost their mind over this, just astounds me. I understand that every reprised role in the film has been cast with the former portrayal of that character, but was Edward Norton's performance the least bit impressive?
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Norton's. Fight Club, 28th hour, Rounders, American History X, are all fantastic pieces of art. I adore them all. But its not the end of the world if he does not play the god damn Incredible Hulk in 'The Avengers'. To be completely honest, I'm not yet sold on all of the hype of 'The Avengers' anyways (my apologies to ComiCon). Until i start seeing some reels, I am not jumping on the rest of the bandwagon.
Marvel has yet to cast a solid Hulk since Lou Ferrigno. So what if 1 member of 'The Avengers' doesn't make the cut. Edward Norton's abilities are better put to use in more character driven roles anyways.
If you're out there, and following this long drawn out ordeal, you're wasting your time. Go watch some trailers instead.
